The questions guests ask first.
How far is the beach?
Kite Beach is a 10-minute walk. We're on the quiet, green side of Cabarete, by the lagoon and away from the busy main street. Town and Playa Encuentro, the surf beach, are 10 minutes by car.
Can I work from Kibayo?
Yes. Strong Wi-Fi, a backup generator so the power never goes out, and quiet corners to work. Staying a few weeks or a month? Message us and we'll make you an offer.
Do I need a car?
No. Walk to Kite Beach, and for everything else there are taxis and motoconchos. We share our local tips, and parking is free if you do rent a car.
